DVHS SCIENCE ALLIANCE

DVHS Science Alliance is a student-run mentoring program that aims to help foster a passion for science for local 5th grade students. High school students (mentors) are paired with motivated younger students (buddies) to guide them through a science fair project of their choice.  Along the way, these buddies are introduced to investigative science, and the development of a science project. The culminating event of the year is the science fair, organized and run by the high school students, where the buddies display their projects.
